HADRON SPECTROSCOPY
What holds exotic matter together?
Exploring tetraquarks and pentaquarks, hadronic molecules, hybrids and glueballs. We connect heavy- and light-flavor spectroscopy through LHCb and COMPASS.
HADRON PHYSICS · BOCHUM
Exploring how quarks and gluons form matter, and what exotic hadrons reveal about the strong interaction.
01 / RESEARCH
We bring experiment, theory and computation together to study the rich spectrum of hadrons.

AMPLITUDES & COMPUTING
Reaction modeling, partial-wave analysis and phenomenology connect experimental observations to the underlying physics. Machine learning helps us investigate complex data.
DETECTOR DEVELOPMENT
Our work on the LHCb SciFi tracker connects detector operation and upgrades with photosensor readout, silicon photomultipliers and fast front-end electronics.
OPEN & REUSABLE RESEARCH
Our Julia tools turn reaction theory and quark models into inspectable, reusable scientific software.
Meson masses, wavefunctions and decays from the Godfrey–Isgur quark model.
Three-body decay kinematics and amplitude models.
Reusable resonance models for hadronic amplitudes.
Decay amplitudes built from sequential decay chains in a cascade basis.
Numerically defined probability distributions with automatic normalization and sampling.
Shared interfaces for four-momenta and relativistic kinematics in high-energy physics.
Cartesian four-momenta, spatial rotations and Lorentz boosts.
02 / PEOPLE
